Remembering Hiroshima Art Exhibition Reception

Maggie Murph Café, Hunt Library, Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh Campus)

View the exhibition on the 1st and 4th floors of the Hunt Library, and the Engineering & Science Library in Wean Hall.

Interpretive panels from the Hiroshima Peace Museum document the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, its aftermath, and the victims’ responses through art. The exhibit includes a range of contemporary artistic responses, including political cartoons, art works, and the 10-volume Japanese manga series Barefoot Gen, recently donated to the Hunt Library.
